I envy the Byzantines. The death of their empire was spectacular. Muslims under the command of Sultan Mehmed II came storming through the gates of Constantinople on Tuesday, May 29, 1453 and promptly began butchering every man, woman and child in sight as they likewise looted the city's extensive wealth. When the crescent was lifted over the newly named Istanbul, every survivor of the the once glorious Byzantine Empire was left with no doubt that their world, and all they knew, was over.

Whether or not the United States died on Sunday, March 21, 2010, may still be an open question. There remain many battles to be fought. However the sacking of Washington that we witnessed on our televisions as the damnable Health Care Reform Bill was passed into law was far less noble than that of Constantinople. What we observed, as democrats bribed and intimidated their own members into passing this monstrosity, would make Boss Tweed's Tammany Hall seem like a Baptist bake sale. At least Tweed and his cronies were bribed with private money.

Nancy Pelosi took up where Harry Reid left off and opened the federal treasury to accomplish the President's goal of passing a Health Care Reform bill that places the Federal Government and 16,000 new IRS officers in charge of administering and enforcing the health care for the entire country. She was somewhat telling the truth when she said we had to pass the bill to find out what is in it. We will be uncovering hidden treachery, as well as more of the special deals and bribes necessary to persuade our congressmen to vote for it, for weeks to come. You want an early example?

One provision states that programs with “a record of training individuals who are from underrepresented minority groups or from a rural or disadvantaged background” will be given priority for government money. This is only one of several such provisions. Programs and medical institutions that practice racial preferences will be moved further up the money queue than programs and medical institutions that disregard race. - American Civil Right Institute

By the way, the Civil Rights Act prohibits government racial discrimination and preferences. The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights called the provisions racially discriminatory and sent President Barack Obama and Congress letters warning them about these provisions. The democrats, of course, ignored the warning. Every sentence in every law reduces somebody's freedom. This 2700 page legislation is going to deprive us of most of ours. Believe it.

Perhaps even worse than the bribery was the spectre of Andy Stern's SEIU union thugs roaming the halls of congress intimidating weak legislators with threats of withheld campaign contributions and primary opponents. Threats that were designed to keep vacillating democrats in line. Even as the public demonstrated in the tens of thousands, Pelosi kept her subjects sequestered in a lock-down to prevent voters from having any influence on their, I mean HER, congressmen. Representative government is dead when a bill that over two thirds of the country opposes is ramrodded into law "by any means necessary."

And "by any means necessary" is exactly what it took. Reconciliation was a devious tactic to avoid a conference committee between the House and Senate to resolve the differences in their bills. It's easy to win when you move the goal line closer when it's your turn to carry the ball. But what do you expect when a rules committee meeting results in this candid remark:

"There ain’t no rules here, we’re trying to accomplish something. . . .All this talk about rules. . . .When the deal goes down . . . we make ‘em up as we go along." - Representative Alcee Hasting (D-FL)

This coming from a former federal judge who was kicked off the bench in 1989 following his impeachment by the House and conviction by the Senate on bribery charges. This is the kind of guy they put on the rules committee!

If bribery with taxpayer dollars isn't enough to turn your stomach what are we to make of representatives Dennis Cardoza and Jim Costa who were once "no" votes. Then, coincidentally I'm sure, the federal government announces through the U.S. Department of Interior that it is increasing water allocations for the valley area in their district, a valley that has been choked of water by Obama's EPA. Suddenly without any other explanation, Cardoza and Costa became "yes" votes for health care. Do they understand that a government powerful enough to withhold water from its people is also a government powerful enough to ration health care from its people? Do they care? Now, any time the President needs to intimidate them for any future votes he only needs to point to a water faucet. They'll get the message. For 25% more of the water that rightfully belonged to them in the first place they gave Obama 100% of his health care bill. That's "courage" for ya.

And then there is Bart Stupak. This man strung us along trying to convince us he was a man of principle who would not support this bill because it failed to prevent federal funds for abortion. Lo and behold he sold out for a meaningless executive order that won't survive the first court challenge. An fifth grader knows that a legislative statute trumps an executive order. I guess Bart isn't smarter than a fifth grader. The announcement that three airports in his district will receive federal grant money is absolutely no evidence that the airport funds are related to Stupak's vote now is it? Another coincidence I'm sure. In fact, Stupak's entire coalition of pro life supporters turned out not to be as "principled" as they were "opportunistic."

A day after Rep. Bart Stupak, D-Mich., and ten other House members compromised on their pro-life position to deliver the necessary yes-votes to pass health care reform, the “Stupak 11″ released their fiscal year 2011 earmark requests, which total more than $4.7 billion–an average of $429 million worth of earmark requests for each lawmaker.

Of the eight lawmakers whose 2010 requests were available for comparison, five requested more money this week than they did a year ago: Rep. Jerry Costello, D-Ill., Rep. Kathy Dahlkemper, D-Pa., Rep. Joe Donnelly, D-Ind., Brad Ellsworth, D-Ind., Rep. Marcy Kaptur, D-Ohio, and Rep. Charles Wilson, D-Ohio. …

Stupak requested more than $578 million in earmarks, including $125 million for a replacement lock on the Sault Ste. Marie, $25.6 million to build a federal courthouse in Marquette, Mich., $15 million to repaint the Mackinac Bridge and $800,000 to preserve the Quincy Mining Company smelter near Hancock in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. - Sunlight Foundation

Coincidences all, I'm sure.

Obama himself, faced with the possibility of failing to accomplish his dream of "fundamentally transforming America," proceeded to resort to some of the most atrocious tactics ever employed by a president:

One caucus member told POLITICO that Obama won him over by “essentially [saying] that the fate of his presidency” hinged on this week’s health reform vote in the House. The member, who requested anonymity, likened Obama’s remarks to an earlier meeting with progressives when the president said a victory was necessary to keep him “strong” for the next three years of his term.

The Narcissist in Chief is only in this for himself. Not a word about his country or what is best for it. No, he is only concerned with the Obama legacy. After the victory on Sunday the President actually had the audacity to claim that his victory was achieved without the influence of any "special interests."

And what of this victory? In order to have a victory somebody has to be defeated. Who? It was the American people who were defeated as Obama and the Democrats could not care less about the country's overwhelming disapproval of this bill. He failed in his primary objective to win over the public. Every time President Obama opened his mouth on the subject, approval of his Health Care Reform Bill sank. So he, Pelosi and Reid conspired to cheat. Pure and simple. He didn't win anything. Its time to wake up to the fact that our government is lawless.

So why did Obama and the Democrats press on with this unpopular legislation? Before you can understand WHO you are dealing with you have to understand just WHAT they are.

Children have exacted vengeance on a nation that failed to acknowledge their fantasies as reality. To see them as intellectually anything more than undisciplined children is simply foolish. Do you think the Democrats actually believed in this bill? Of course they don't. They know that their CBO estimated costs were a wild fabrication. They were well aware that this bill is a budget busting fraud that will destroy this country. They didn't care. They don't care. It was all about defeating us, their enemies, and laughing in our faces.

These pampered children claim (falsely) that their actions are noble and that they are acting on behalf of victims of the American Health Care system and therefore are entitled to seek this retribution. They demonized the health insurance industry and now have effectively made it a utility for the government administration of health care. The insurance companies have been transformed into the "public option" of so many democrats dreams. Now the executive branch of the federal government will decide who gets health care, what health care they will get and when they will get it. That will, in time, create a very compliant and obedient citizenry. Everyone either needs or loves someone who needs health care. Such people will be reluctant to resist or criticize their new masters. In the eyes of the arrogant, power hungry progressives, Obama has conquered.

Yea, Constantinople had it easy. Our conquerors, however, require their defeated victims to remain as an enslaved audience to fulfill their fantasy that they have taught us a lesson. It's important to them that we see and hear them celebrate. Whereas the Muslims smashing into Constantinople destroyed and scattered their enemies, these would be conquerors of America made the mistake of leaving their conquered victims...alive. They have unmasked their intentions and displayed themselves as an army of godless, treasonous parasites. The time has come for us to be merciless.

The next fight against this bill is in the courts where 14 states have immediately filed suit against the implementation of this bill alleging its unconstitutionality. The argument that the individual mandate is unconstitutional appears to have a decent shot. Though congress has the right to regulate interstate commerce, it does not have the right to generate it. Likewise, the imposing of fines and jail sentences on those who fail to comply is hardly what one could reasonably call a tax. The states are also rejecting the notion that the federal government can create a massive new program that requires the states to reconfigure their financial infrastructure to fund these new mandates. Essentially, Obamacare commandeers state legislatures for federal purposes. The Constitution does not authorize the congress to regulate the state governments. We should prevail...but then we should have prevailed when this was in the hands of congress.

There is also the matter of those people who have been exempted from participation. Oh, you expected that congress would create a special exemption for themselves but they also exempted their staff's in an arrangement that could affect thousands. Unequal treatment under the law should certainly be an issue in this matter as well as the way certain union benefits were selectively protected from taxation that non-union workers will be required to pay. There are a lot of potential problems with this bill and one can only hope the Robert's Court will strike it down in its entirety. After all, it was the democrats idea to make the bill a COMPREHENSIVE one with so many inter-related parts. Hopefully that will take the entire beast with one blow.

BUT...we now KNOW we are dealing with a lawless government. Anyone who would openly and flagrantly intimidate and bribe congressmen would not hesitate to exert that same influence on members of the court. We, the public, have been very tolerant as we attempt to play within what used to be the rules of the game. I am not too sure that will continue if we see any evidence of tampering with the court. I am not too sure it should.

Remember, I have been telling you that if they passed the Health Care Reform Bill there could very well be no elections in November. Now Rush Limbaugh is saying the same thing. (Its good to be way ahead of him on something!) After the lawlessness of this past weekend we can no longer take free and fair elections for granted. Remember its not the voters that determine the outcome of elections...it's the counters. If the democrats press ahead with their plans to grant amnesty to 13 million illegal voters or override state laws and add 4 million felons onto the voter rolls you can rest assured those votes will be counted whether they were cast or not. If there is even the slightest perception of tampering with either the election or the Supreme Court's decision I fear the republic will be brought to violence.

You see, this too is no problem for Obama and his sycophants. They don't have any desire to do what's best for anybody. If the country is destroyed, it is only to be seen as part of their master plan. They will rebuild it in their own image. You have often heard the saying the "Nero fiddled while Rome burned." Actually he recited poetry in the fire of 64 AD. Many historians believe Nero was actually responsible for the fires. You see, he wanted to rebuild the city according to his own designs and desires. Neroville? Once again we see there is nothing progressive in progressivism. The abuse of power is as old as man.

After the display they put on in passing this Health Care Reform bill the democrats really have no option but to be as ruthless and criminal as necessary. They have committed themselves to the destruction of the republic. If they succeed, they can be the masters of the new Socialist States of America. If they fail, they just might end up on a meat hook like Mussolini and his supporters. Make no mistake, it is going to get rough. So be it.

We are on the road to Utopia. Strange how much it looks like Cuba and Venezuela. We are at the mercy of a coalition of carnivorous special interests, minorities and parasites that believe they have grievances against us. They believe it is their right to impose their morality, or lack thereof, and their "social justice" even as they loot our treasury and reward themselves for their insolence. They are so convinced of their own perfection and righteousness that they cannot tolerate our freedom. It matters not what harm befalls them or their country. They only know they hate us.

Science has been getting a bad rap lately…and deservedly so. The Anthropic Global Warming hoax is unraveling and too many unscrupulous scientists at the center of this politically motivated redistributionist scheme are now being excoriated for whoring themselves out to Marxist swindlers. Yet they are hardly the first, nor are they the most guilty of mis-leading the public through false science. They are merely building their fraudulent theories on the foundations previously laid by others.

The Theory of Evolution itself has been losing credibility almost since the day it was first proposed. The theory’s prevailing popularity is largely the result of political necessity rather than any accumulated scientific evidence. Evolution is, of course, the centerpiece of the collectivist’s “progressive” agenda. Without a basic belief in an ongoing process of evolutionary progress there is not much to suggest a need for implementing social policies that promote an ongoing social evolution.

The founding fathers of our country were most definitely not evolutionists! This is not only because the foundation of our country predates Darwin’s theory by a hundred years, but also because they viewed man as a “created” being. In their infinite wisdom they did not see any evidence that man had acquired any new abilities or capabilities in his entire history. No, the history of man is full of the same stories played over and over. Oh sure, you have had technological innovation, but how little has man himself changed. We are vulnerable to the same weaknesses and temptations as our fathers and their fathers before them. With this knowledge, the founders of our country designed our constitution accordingly:

“In questions of power, let us hear no more of trust in men, but rather bind them down from mischief with the chains of the Constitution.” -Thomas Jefferson

Those are not the words of a “progressive,” nor are they the words of someone who has faith in the inherent goodness of men. This is why the collectivists that comprise today’s resurgent “progressive” movement find the constitution to be such an impediment to their desired progress. It was intentionally designed to restrict one man’s inevitable desire to dominate and rule over another man. They foresaw the schemes and shenanigans of future Marxists, socialists and other assorted collectivists and placed barriers on the path to their alleged “progress” because they knew what we all should know:

ECCLESIASTES 1:9: The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

In other words, we have been here before and what they call progress is actually nothing new at all. To our friends on the collectivist side of politics, social evolution is a natural and expected outgrowth of geological and biological evolution. If both the species, and the environment of that species, can be said to be evolving then it would be natural to assume that the society of that species in that environment would be evolving as well. Therefore they justify their reformist progressive policies much the same way as a geneticist justifies the biological engineering of plants and animals to preserve the strengths and minimize the weaknesses of their particular species, and then apply that logic to society as a whole. Alas, social engineering becomes a moral imperative of the scientifically based progressive religion of evolution with social justice being the “great commission” of its adherents.

Fortunately, even a godless philosophy must have some sort of foundation to build its’ universal truths upon, and the god of the progressives is science. The science behind evolution must be true or else the entire philosophy will collapse. Just as the collapse of the Anthropic Global Warming hoax is being under-reported in the American press, so too is another story…one that has the power to bring down the entire evolutionist scheme to mis-lead and mis-educate entire populations. The enemy of evolution turns out to be what scientists had always thought was its’ best evidence…the dinosaurs.

A recent episode of CBS’s 60 Minutes finally broke news that has been circulating throughout the scientific community for years. Fresh organic tissues continue to be found in fossils alleged to be millions of years old! These un-mineralized, still-soft tissues come from animals and plants that were preserved by some catastrophic event. Each specimen looks considerably younger than its’ alleged age and a direct conclusion must be made that the rock that encased it is likewise thousands, and not millions, of years old. The fresher the meat, and yes there is meat, the more ridiculous the evolutionist claims that either the creatures or the rocks can date to pre-human history.

“The lab filled with murmurs of amazement, for I had focused on something inside the vessels that none of us had ever noticed before: tiny round objects, translucent red with a dark center. Then a colleague took one look at them and shouted, ‘You’ve got red blood cells. You’ve got red blood cells!’. It was exactly like looking at a slice of modern bone. But, of course, I couldn’t believe it. I said to the lab technician: ‘The bones, after all, are 65 million years old. How could blood cells survive that long?’ - (Schweitzer and Staedter, 1997, p. 55)

This account was given by Mary Schweitzer, a PhD student at Montana State University at the time. A well preserved Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton had been found and brought to the university in 1990. During the analysis of the fossilized remains it was observed that some portions of the bones had not mineralized but were still, intact, original bone. Further examination within the vascular system of this bone revealed…red blood cells! Of course, this is just not possible.

In 2002 Schweitzer made an even more astounding discovery. She and her team had to divide a very large Tyrannosaurus Rex thigh bone in order to transport it. When the bone was opened flexible and elastic soft tissue meat was found inside. This is astounding because this bone is alleged to be 68 million years old!

Microscopic examination revealed blood vessels with intact red blood cells and other types of cells such as osteocytes – which are bone forming cells. These blood vessels were soft, translucent and flexible. To demonstrate Schweitzer placed two microscope generated photographs side by side and asked: “One of these cells is 65 million years old and one is about nine months old. Can anyone tell me which is which?”

“I mean can you imagine pulling a bone out of the ground after 68 million years and then getting intact protein sequences? That’s just mind boggling how much preservation there is in these bones.” -John Asara, Beth Israel Deconess Medical Center

It is not some arbitrary rule of science that dictates that flesh rots quickly. It is extremely well established by observation and easily repeatable experiments such as those that can measure the protein decay that occurs in only two days. The science being challenged by these discoveries goes straight to the heart of deep-time evolutionary theory!

One of the earliest published reports concerning DNA extracted from ancient materials (over one million years old) involves magnolia leaves found in lake bottom sediments of the alleged Miocene age which is dated 17 to 20 million years old. The find proved to be interesting because the magnolia leaves were found in water-logged clay deposits. (Which is a pseudo-scientific way of saying they were still wet!) Scientists agree that DNA disintegrates very rapidly when in contact with water. In fact, complete disintegration occurs in less than 5000 years. Yet, repeatedly, scientists were able to extract authentic plant cpDNA in the 700 to 1500 bp size range.

“The clay was wet, however, and one wonders how DNA could have survived the damaging influence of water for so long.” - Prof. Dr. Svante Pääbo Director, Department of Genetics Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology

Perhaps the magnolia leaves simply are not 17 million years old. Likewise, the dinosaurs are not 65 million years old. The DNA evidence is much more consistent with a recent catastrophic burial. Time destroys soft tissue as well as DNA and proteins relatively quickly. Current scientific observations suggest that biological proteins cannot remain intact more than a few tens of thousands of years. 100,000 years would be the maximum possible outside limit of protein decay. The fact that these proteins have been found, intact, in bones alleged to be older than 65 million years is inconsistent with the conclusion. Either the science regarding DNA and tissue deterioration is flawed or, more likely, the age of the bones and the plants has been hugely miscalculated. This is what happens when, as with the Global Warming hoax, you begin your research with a desired conclusion only to have the evidence prove inconvenient and unable to sustain that conclusion.

Perhaps the magnolia leaves were packed wet into that clay, say…4000 years ago. Lets see, what kind of water borne catastrophe could possibly be attributed to that time frame? Ahh yes, Mr. Noah and his world consuming flood. How can scientists continue to insist that something is 17 million years old when there is no possible way for its DNA to survive 5000 years? Worse, how can paleontologists continue to tell us that dinosaurs are 65 million years old when we have organic DNA that suggests they are only thousands of years old? In fact, the evidence now suggests that humans and dinosaurs must have co-existed together!

In order for the theory of evolution to be true, the DNA in both these plants and dinosaurs must have been preserved in some way unfathomable by science. For organic dinosaur tissue to be preserved for this length of time would require…a miracle! Suddenly scientists holding onto the theory of evolution, like their Anthropic Global Warming counterparts, are in need of divine intervention and miracles to preserve their fraudulent claims.

You won’t be seeing this get the attention it deserves simply because it interferes with the political motivations of progressives and their benefactors. When the magnitude of this fraudulent science is revealed it will destroy every last bit of credibility the scientific community has ever had. It is a shame, but it is consistent with human history. Science, like religion, is often merely a tool used by the powerful to corrupt and control society. Jefferson and the other founding fathers of our country were right. Man is not an evolving creature. He is best kept locked in his constitutional cage.

The social engineer masquerading as the President of the United States is at it again. With a bold, and perhaps tactically wise, move he has decided to push ahead with his socialist program to distribute his ideological perception of “fairness” as part of his ongoing attempt to “fundamentally transform America.”

Disregarding the public’s demand that he refrain from pursuing his left wing agenda to remake the country into something more acceptable to him and his kind and concentrate on resolving the problems of the one he was elected to govern, the president has decided to re-open another Clinton era debacle and seek to allow homosexuals to openly serve in the military. Apparently the Health Care Reform disaster was not sufficient enough of a hat tip to previous democratic administration blunders. This is just another attempt to distract the public away from the dismal performance of the economy under his watch. He knows that by bringing this issue back into the spotlight it will re-ignite the fiery political passion on both sides and keep meddling eyes away from a couple of dangerous issues concerning the economy and the debt.

Is it a coincidence that the president has decided to go forward with the repeal of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy at at the same time as revised numbers on unemployment in 2009 have been released? It was announced that, in fact, the Obama administration under-reported the unemployment numbers by 827,000 jobs! Was this an “error” or an act of manipulation? Were there manipulations in the numbers that allowed for the unexpected drop in the unemployment rate down to 9.7%? Perhaps they were counting temporary census worker hires? Did the administration reduce the number of available jobs from 136 million to 129 million? This would explain how unemployment went down even though job losses continue to increase. Such questions are not being asked because all the discussions are focusing on homosexuals serving in the military.

Also announced this week was another fact that likewise received little notice. The new Federal debt ceiling, that was just raised by congress, will be exceeded before the end of this month (February). Hmm…You reckon that had anything to do with the proposed budget President Obama recently submitted to the congress? The largest budget in the history of the world!. Unfortunately it is a budget that just happens to include deficit spending in excess of one and a half TRILLION dollars! A good way to distract the public away from the ever expanding federal debt is to get them fighting over the always controversial subject of homosexuals serving in the military. Congratulations Mr. President it worked! We are going to waste our time talking about homosexuals…again.

Homosexual activists have been pursuing open service in the military for a long time…and for a good reason: it is a shortcut to acceptance of the entire homosexual agenda in this country. Homosexuals have insisted that they are a minority group that is being deprived of their “civil rights.” They have long tried to associate their “demand” for acceptance of their lifestyle and behavior as being equal to the African-American Civil Rights movement. This has had the effect of placing a wedge between themselves and the African American community who, rightly, resents this nonsense. This also explains why California’s 2008 attempt to legalize homosexual marriage failed. The election, with Barack Obama on the ballot, brought out a very large turnout in the African-American community. They overwhelmingly rejected homosexual marriage. Good for them.

However, that will not alter the tunnel vision nor deter the selfish single-mindedness of homosexual activists. They are very well schooled in the history and successes of the African-American civil rights movement and are adept at adapting those tactics to their situation. They know that the catalyst to all of the success of the civil rights movement occurred on July 26, 1948 when President Harry Truman issued Executive Order 9981. This order brought an end to racial segregation within the ranks of the United States military. This had such a positive effect on race relations in this country that it paved the way for the civil rights movement to gain the popular support it needed to succeed. This is what homosexuals are attempting to replicate by pressing President Obama to allow homosexuals to openly serve in the military.

The trouble is, of course, it won’t work. Discrimination against African-Americans was based entirely on something that can be instantly and easily observed: the color of their skin. It had nothing to do with their abilities, intelligence, behavior or character. It was depriving them of the basic constitutional elements of social interaction reflected in such areas as education and equal treatment under the law. As such, fair minded people of intelligence can see such prejudices were built upon irrational and unfair presumptions that could, and have been, proven false. Discrimination against African-Americans was depriving and harming the country as a whole as much as it was depriving and harming them. Also, rectifying this discrimination did not require our society to re-orient its definitions of what is and what is not acceptable behavior.

Discrimination (and yes it is exactly that) against homosexuals is not even close to being the same thing. Homosexuality is defined by the actions and behavior of homosexuals. This is not a definition pressed upon them unfairly from outsiders. No, this is something they willingly and aggressively do themselves and force those outside their community to accept. Homosexual activists intend to alter the definition of acceptable behavior in this country. We have every right to resist them!

Most Americans, and I consider myself among them, do not wish to persecute anyone for personal and private relationships between consenting adults. But this is where the problem lies. The average heterosexual does not consider his sexual “orientation” a primary defining characteristic of his being. Homosexuals, as evidenced by their need to aggressively assert their “orientation” publicly, do. Their desire to overturn the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy is a manifestation of the homosexual's tendency to assert his sexuality as his primary defining characteristic. The homosexual wants to be known as a homosexual first and foremost…at least that is what homosexual activists would have us believe.

In the years since 1993, when the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy was initiated, there have been around 10,000 people discharged from active duty service for being openly homosexual. Yet, the military’s own numbers confirm that upwards of 65,000 homosexuals are currently serving. Obviously something must be working. I fail to see the “unfairness” of this policy. The policy was established by congress based on these findings:

U.S. CODE TITLE 10 > Subtitle A > PART II > CHAPTER 37 > § 654 Prev | Next § 654. Policy concerning homosexuality in the armed forces

Congress makes the following findings:

(1) Section 8 of article I of the Constitution of the United States commits exclusively to the Congress the powers to raise and support armies, provide and maintain a Navy, and make rules for the government and regulation of the land and naval forces.

(2) There is no constitutional right to serve in the armed forces.

(3) Pursuant to the powers conferred by section 8 of article I of the Constitution of the United States, it lies within the discretion of the Congress to establish qualifications for and conditions of service in the armed forces.

(4) The primary purpose of the armed forces is to prepare for and to prevail in combat should the need arise.

(5) The conduct of military operations requires members of the armed forces to make extraordinary sacrifices, including the ultimate sacrifice, in order to provide for the common defense.

(6) Success in combat requires military units that are characterized by high morale, good order and discipline, and unit cohesion.

(7) One of the most critical elements in combat capability is unit cohesion, that is, the bonds of trust among individual service members that make the combat effectiveness of a military unit greater than the sum of the combat effectiveness of the individual unit members.

(8) Military life is fundamentally different from civilian life in that—

(A) the extraordinary responsibilities of the armed forces, the unique conditions of military service, and the critical role of unit cohesion, require that the military community, while subject to civilian control, exist as a specialized society; and
(B) the military society is characterized by its own laws, rules, customs, and traditions, including numerous restrictions on personal behavior, that would not be acceptable in civilian society.

(9) The standards of conduct for members of the armed forces regulate a member’s life for 24 hours each day beginning at the moment the member enters military status and not ending until that person is discharged or otherwise separated from the armed forces.

(10) Those standards of conduct, including the Uniform Code of Military Justice, apply to a member of the armed forces at all times that the member has a military status, whether the member is on base or off base, and whether the member is on duty or off duty.

(11) The pervasive application of the standards of conduct is necessary because members of the armed forces must be ready at all times for worldwide deployment to a combat environment.

(12) The worldwide deployment of United States military forces, the international responsibilities of the United States, and the potential for involvement of the armed forces in actual combat routinely make it necessary for members of the armed forces involuntarily to accept living conditions and working conditions that are often spartan, primitive, and characterized by forced intimacy with little or no privacy.

(13) The prohibition against homosexual conduct is a longstanding element of military law that continues to be necessary in the unique circumstances of military service.

(14) The armed forces must maintain personnel policies that exclude persons whose presence in the armed forces would create an unacceptable risk to the armed forces’ high standards of morale, good order and discipline, and unit cohesion that are the essence of military capability.

(15) The presence in the armed forces of persons who demonstrate a propensity or intent to engage in homosexual acts would create an unacceptable risk to the high standards of morale, good order and discipline, and unit cohesion that are the essence of military capability.

Homosexuality is, and always will be, a morally contested behavior that, like all sexual behavior, should be kept private. As you can see by the U.S. code of law, service men and women agree to the loss of a certain amount of privacy when they accept military service. There is no room for open or blatant sexuality…particularly of the morally contested variety. This is a volunteer military. These stipulations are agreed to voluntarily.

Will the country be better served by seeing homosexuals kiss and embrace as they return from dangerous overseas deployments? If we allow open homosexuality in the military this is exactly what we will have. Not only this, but we also invite the spectre of real life “Corporal Klingers” and other further sexual deviances becoming tolerated factors in our military. This is exactly what the homosexual activists wish to inflict upon us all!

Unfortunately, it is also what our “Social Engineer in Chief” wishes to inflict upon us. To him it is another theatre to redistribute his vision of “social justice” and fairness. But alas, fairness, particularly this progressive interpretation of it, is a concept best kept out of our military. We ask a lot of our military. They put themselves through years of sacrifice and training to prepare themselves to kill or be killed on our behalf. We do not wish for them ever to be involved in a “fair” fight. No sir. We insist that a fight with our military be entirely unfair! Our technology and machines of war are the envy of the earth. However, our “ace in the hole” is our people themselves. The training, devotion and character of our soldiers is what has made the United States military the most dominant fighting force the world has ever known. Fighting against them has always been a fool’s errand.

The ideals of our military reflect those common at the time of our country’s founding. It is the principle that although all men are created equal, there are better men than others. What better men could you wish for than a volunteer military willing to put their lives on the line not only to defend their own country, but to fight and die for the freedom of others. What other military in the history of the world has been responsible for giving so many other nations the opportunities for freedom that ours has selflessly provided? It is into this bastion of unimpeachable integrity that our President wishes to inject the selfish demands of homosexual activists. Also, considering the number of homosexuals serving in the military verses the number that have been removed for violating the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy, it is not clear that the homosexual activists pursuing this agenda actually reflect the views of the vast majority of homosexuals in the military.

Our “Social Engineer in Chief” does not like our military. He never has. That is not the constituency that voted him into office…and he knows it! People who volunteer for the military swear an oath to defend the United States Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. Our President considers that archaic document to be an impediment to his “fundamental transformation of America.” His agenda IS an attack on the U.S. Constitution and his attempt to allow homosexuals to serve openly in the military is an attack on the military. He IS a domestic enemy of the U.S. Constitution!

Even Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen, has stated that repeal of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy will cause disruption in the military services:

"My personal belief is that allowing homosexuals to serve openly would be the right thing to do. I cannot escape being troubled by the fact that we have in place a policy which forces young men and women to lie about who they are in order to defend their fellow citizens. For me, it comes down to integrity -- theirs as individuals and ours as an institution.

"I also believe the great young men and women of our military can and would accommodate such a change, but I do not know this for a fact. I will not deny that during a time of two wars, such a major policy change will cause some disruption in the force. It also seems plausible that there will be legal, social, and perhaps even infrastructure changes to be made. These are some of the issues our review will address.

"But we would do well to remember that this is not an issue for the military leadership to decide. The current law and policy came from the American people through their elected officials. We will continue to obey that law, and we will obey whatever legislative and executive decisions come out of this debate.

This, of course, excites our “Social Engineer in Chief,” but do you know why? Because such disruptions are a necessary ingredient for a “fundamental transformation of America.” They have been schooled in this philosophy well!

You see, it’s a win-win situation for the president. He gets to inflict his vision of progressive “social justice” on a military he has never liked even as he continues to disrupt and disorganize the United States as we have known and loved it. Do you really think this President cares about the economy, unemployment or the deficit? He has made it abundantly clear he cares more about the rights of terrorists than the security of the American people. Now he would dare to put the American people at an even greater risk by injecting this poisonous policy into our primary means of defense.

By insisting on the repeal of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy he is also making it clear he views the military as nothing more than a tool for implementing foolish progressive social engineering schemes to undermine the country he was elected to defend. That is how you "fundamentally transform America." He is disorganizing America so that he might reorganize it when it crumbles. And he has the “audacity” to claim he is not an idealogue…yea right.

One Man, One Vote; Unless...

ONE MAN, ONE VOTE; UNLESS...

So you want to know what the Democrats are really up to, don't you? After all, it just doesn't make any sense to blatantly defy the will of the electorate. Yet we see this administration, and the Democratic party itself, consistently insist on pushing through Health Care Reform in spite of overwhelming opposition and ZERO Republican support. Why? We see a determination to close the Guantanamo Bay detention facility even though the public did not want it closed BEFORE the recent string of terrorist activity within our borders. Why? Worse, this administration is dead set on trying terrorists, including the masterminds behind the 9/11 attacks, in civilian courts even as they bestow upon them the rights of AMERICAN citizens. Again, why? Is there some suicidal tendency within the Democratic party? Or do they know something we don't know...yet? Remember, I am one of those who have stated that in the event that Health Care Reform legislation succeeds there would be no 2010 elections. Guess what folks, the Democrats do have a plan. A damnable, treasonous and evil one at that.

In January, Chuck Schumer and Barney Frank will propose universal voter registration. What is universal voter registration? It means all of the state laws on elections will be overridden by a federal mandate. The feds will tell the states: 'take everyone on every list of welfare that you have, take everyone on every list of unemployed you have, take everyone on every list of property owners, take everyone on every list of driver's license holders and register them to vote regardless of whether they want to be ...' -John Fund, Wall Street Journal

Now, you see how the plot thickens. While they are ramming through unpopular legislation such as Health Care Reform, Cap and Trade and, of course, the soon to return Comprehensive Immigration Reform, the Democrats do have a plan to defend themselves in the event that they eventually have to answer to the voters. When the electorate fails to see the wisdom of your actions you simply replace and negate it. It is as brilliant as it is evil...and it is straight out of hell evil.

Congress will attempt to ram this bill through the same way they have with the Health Care Reform bill, however, since this is a matter of self-preservation you can rest assured there will be even less debate and more secrecy involved in its passage.

The theory behind this strategy is quite simple. The left has already been making the argument for years that universal voter registration will solve all sorts of "phantom" problems in our voting system. The truth is that the only real problem the left has with the American voting system is that is doesn't offer them reliable and consistent victories. According a recent Gallup poll 40% percent of respondents said they’re either “conservative” (31%) or “very conservative” (9%). On the other hand, 21% said they’re either liberal (16%) or “very liberal” (5%). 35% said they’re moderate. Though the Democrats were remarkably successful at fomenting disapproval for the previous Bush administration, it is numbers like these that guarantee their grip on power is to be short lived. Universal voter registration, coupled with the return Comprehensive Immigration Reform, is designed as a remedy to this problem.

The Democrats have committed themselves to the radical Cloward/Piven strategy and they cannot turn back now. This strategy was designed to undermine government institutions by overwhelming them with impossible demands for services. Richard Cloward and Francis Fox Piven's devious strategy for government collapse focused on welfare, housing and voting as the main targets for their attacks. It should come as no surprise to find out that the radical group ACORN (Association of Community Organizations For Reform Now) was created specifically to carry out this strategy. ACORN's role in welfare and housing has been well documented. However, it is the string of indictments for voter registration fraud that has followed them in the wake of the 2008 elections that reveals more of their nefarious intentions with each passing day. That this organization receives taxpayer funding even as they openly work to destroy the very government that they feed from is an intolerable atrocity. However we should not be surprised. Ultimately, the parasite always kills the host from which it feeds. ACORN is a parasite intentionally inflicted upon us by those who think they will benefit from the collapse of the United States. ACORN IS TREASON!

The problems with universal voter registration are many and obvious. By including everyone on every list that you have, you create a situation ripe for multiple votes from the same voters or fraudulent votes from dead or dis-interested voters. Simply put: universal voter registration=universal voter fraud! How many homeowners have more than one home? Most people will be on more than one list so the opportunities for duplication and multiplication are endless. You can be confident the Democrats intend to exploit all of them! The entire reason for having voter registration is so that there will be only one list. Thus, eliminating the opportunity for fraud and duplicity. So ask yourself, who will benefit from this?

If the Democrats have proven anything in recent years its that they are willing to stoop to any level of criminality not only in the pursuit of unconstitutional legislation but also in gaming the election system to provide themselves an unearned advantage. In the 2000 presidential election Democrats attempted to steal the election by demanding selective recounting of Democratically dominated districts where they could easily have created a few hundred additional votes to assist Al Gore in the closely contested state of Florida. This attempt failed when the U.S. Supreme Court rightly put an end to the selective recounting. Subsequent recounts by news organizations proved that the original counts were accurate and that George W. Bush was the rightful winner. What would have happened if the Democrats were allowed to continue to look for votes? You can rest assured they would have found them!

They learned from their 2000 mistake. It was determined that Florida's Republican Secretary of State was an impediment to their successful manipulation of the recount. The George Soros funded Secretary Of State project was designed to resolve this situation and create advantages in future recounts as well as exploit the vulnerabilities that already exist in our current system of voter registration. The stolen election in Minnesota that saw Al Franken elected to the Senate was a triumph of this new tactic. Democrat Secretary of State Mark Ritchie presided over an election recount that saw Republican Norm Coleman's lead evaporate as supposedly uncounted ballots were found all over the place, including the trunk of one precinct worker's car. This is what we have to look forward to if universal voter registration becomes law.

Democrats are not embarrassed by having their tactics broadcast to the public at large. In fact, they are quite proud of themselves as this boastful comment about the special election in Massachusetts to fill Ted Kennedy's vacant Senate seat can attest:

"I tell you what, if I lived in Massachusetts, I'd try to vote ten times. I don't know if they'd let me or not, but I'd try to. Yeah, that's right, I'd cheat to keep these bastards out. I would. 'Cause that's exactly what they are." - Ed Shultz, MSNBC

That comment came on the same day that his colleague, Chris Matthews, lamented that there weren't any left-leaning votes for Democrats to buy in Massachusetts on Tuesday. What are we to do with these children?

Worse still, It is the intention of the Democrats to have the current fill-in [Paul Kirk] for Teddy Kennedy’s seat remain in office AFTER the election is over if Republican Scott Brown wins so that he will be the one to vote to pass the unpopular Health Care Reform bill. They have prepared all sorts of actions to stall the certification process in the event that Scott Brown wins since he has vowed to vote against this legislation. It is that vow that largely explains why the safest Democrat seat in the Senate has a good chance to turn Republican. Of course, if Democrat Martha Coakley wins, she will be sworn in the moment the polls close. Don't let the fact that they call themselves Democrats deceive you. They have no use for any of this “democracy” stuff...unless it's convenient for them.

American's are rightfully concerned and distressed by Barack Obama and his outrageous spending, nationalizing of industries and disregard for policies that thwart terrorism. It is obvious to everyone that the ghastly 787 billion dollar stimulus bill was nothing more than payback to the unions and other loyal bodies of the Democrat's electorate for a job well done in 2008, as well as an incentive to maintain their vigilance in the future. Such huge transfers of debt to the government go a long way toward the Cloward and Piven goal of collapse. Democrats are well aware that the American people are unhappy with them. They don't care. They are working to make sure that they can retain power, regardless of the electorate's wishes. By passing legislation that overrides all state voter registration laws they can place themselves in a position to control the results of elections in perpetuity.

Obama and his accomplices are creating a social, moral and economic abomination right before our eyes. The private sector of our economy is being pillaged and the booty is being redistributed to state and city union workers. They are playing with us as if we are children. Once again we see their moral code revolves around the ends justifying the means.

Everyone should be well aware by now that the Democrats are committed to the treasonous intentional destruction of the United States economy, government and its' constitution. They think they have something better to put in its place after their Cloward and Piven designed collapse. God help us if we have to find out what that is. It's best that you keep your firearms within reach, if they pass this legislation you may have to use them.

Perhaps one bullet for each additional vote they cast? That makes nine for Mr. Shultz. What bastards we are!

Intolerable Acts

INTOLERABLE ACTS

"Friends! Brethren! Countrymen!--That worst of plagues, the detested tea, shipped for this port by the East India Company, is now arrived in the harbor." -Boston, November 29, 1773

Intolerable Acts. The very sound of such words reeks of a tyrannical villainy that exceeds the "run of the mill" oppression normally associated with a bloated, out of control government. However, it also reeks of something else: A people who believe they deserve better and are unwilling to tolerate the tyranny, regardless of the ramifications of resistance. Despite the insistence from our president otherwise, we descend from a good, decent and independent people. However, our government, unable and unwilling to acknowledge this fact, is re-instituting a policy of Intolerable Acts, and we need only consult our wise ancestors in order to discern the remedy.

In colonial times, an arrogant English monarchy, its' treasury having been depleted by the French and Indian War, decided it could recoup its' losses by levying a series of new taxes on their American colonies. The Stamp Act of 1765, the Townsend Act of 1767 along with the infamous Boston Massacre agitated the colonists, but when the Crown decided to tax tea, the colonists revolted. They refused to pay the taxes required by the Townsend Acts claiming they had no obligation to pay taxes imposed by a Parliament in which they had no representation. Parliament then retracted the taxes with the exception of the tax on tea, this remained as a demonstration of Parliament's right and willingness to tax the colonies.

In concocting a scheme not unlike the political shenanigans of modern times, they gave the East India Company a monopoly on the importation of tea to America. Parliament then reduced the tax the colonies would have to pay for the imported tea. The scheme would actually allow Americans to get their tea at a cheaper price than before. However, if the colonies paid the tax on the imported tea, they would be acknowledging the English Parliament's right to tax them. It was assumed that the colonists would rather pay the tax than deprive themselves of their tea. It was a big mis-calculation. Our ancestors were not so easily deceived by Parliamentary trickery.

In Boston, the arrival of three ships loaded with tea ignited a furious reaction. On December 16, 1773 as many as 7,000 agitated locals gathered about the wharf where the ships were docked. The colonists demanded the ships leave...without paying the tea taxes. The Collector of Customs refused to allow the ships to leave without paying the tea taxes. A stalemate? No, our ancestors had a surprise for the English Crown. 200 men, many disguised as Indians, marched two-by-two to the wharf, descended upon the three ships and dumped their offending cargos of tea into the harbor waters. This was the first, and most famous tea party...but by no means, the last.

In early 2009, within the first month of the presidency of Barack Obama, his administration sought, and acquired, the single biggest booty in the history of theft, when the newly elected Democratic majority pilfered the United States Treasury for 787 billion dollars under the guise of an economic stimulus. The fact that the United States did not have 787 Billion dollars was not an impediment, they simply borrowed and printed the money. The public, having just voted out a republican president and majorities in congress for, among other things, excessive spending, reacted with hostility to this intolerable action. Suddenly, taxpayer tea-parties started popping up all across the country. The movement led to a massive display of over a million people at a demonstration in Washington DC on September 12, 2009. Millions more were participating in similar events nationwide. This government was put on notice that it has our attention, and it has earned our contempt.

However, the Obama administration, like King George's before him, does not handle criticism well. If you will recall your history, the English Crown responded to the Boston Tea Party by imposing a series of laws sponsored by British Prime Minister Lord North in 1774. These laws, known as the "Intolerable Acts," were the harshest laws ever imposed by Parliament against the colonies. They included:

1. QUARTERING ACT: Allowed British troops to stay in houses or empty buildings if barracks were not available.

2. QUEBEC ACT: Granted civil government and religious freedom to Catholics living in Quebec. This was a direct insult to Americans in the colonies, who had been denied the same sorts of rights that the Quebec residents were being granted.

3. MASSACHUSETTS BAY REGULATING ACT: Made all law officers subject to appointment by the royal governor and banned all town meetings that didn't have approval of the royal governor.

4. BOSTON PORT ACT: Closed the port of Boston until the price of the destroyed tea was recovered, moved the capital of Massachusetts to Salem, and made Marblehead the official port of entry for the Massachusetts colony.

5. IMPARTIAL ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE ACT: This allowed the royal governor of a colony to move trials to other colonies or even to England if he feared that juries in those colonies wouldn't judge a case fairly.

Whether it be through arrogance or ignorance our current president has revived the spirit of the "Intolerable Acts." In fact, when comparing the policies and initiatives of the Obama administration and his congressional democrat catspaws, to that of the British Crown's colonial impositions, there is an eerie similarity. It would appear, however, that the modern version is exponentially more...intolerable! Let's have a look at them.

1. HEALTH CARE REFORM ACT: For some reason I see this as having considerable similarity to the 1774 Quartering Act in that it has the potential to be the most intrusive trespass of government into our lives. Almost every aspect of your life can be controlled through government administered and regulated Health Care. Everything from what you eat to where you live can be evaluated to determine your health risk. By rendering the health care system a slave of government regulation, it will come to pass that government bureaucrats will have a say in EVERY aspect of your behavior. Behavior viewed as risky, such as eating at fast food restaurants, consuming soft drinks or even sexual behavior, will be vulnerable to regulation with just this act alone. Privacy and freedom be damned! They might as well be living with you in your house, just as the British soldiers who were being quartered in our ancestors homes, against their wishes.

If you think I'm exaggerating, consider this example: The United States Department of Health and Human Services has already conducted a study to determine the health risks of firearms. Once the Health Care Reform Act becomes law, the U.S. Constitution will not be able to stop government bureaucrats from issuing a finding of "endangerment" and then, by fiat, they will restrict or deny you the right to possess or own firearms in the name of reducing health care costs. Why do you think progressives are salivating at the prospects of passing this damnable law? In one stroke, they can assume dictatorial control over EVERYONE'S life.

The Health Care Reform Act is not the product of a limited constitutional government, but instead is an attempt at limiting freedom. The president claims passage of this would be an historic achievement on behalf of the American people. This colossal invasion of a centralized "command and control" apparatus into the health care system will unleash a tyranny that will ultimately destroy the doctor-patient relationship, ration health care and stifle medical innovation. Do you believe this is being done for YOUR benefit?

TOLERANCE ACT: As with the Quebec Act of 1774, this intolerable act involves recognizing "rights" or status for certain groups at the expense of others. This is best displayed with the recent signing into law of Hate Crimes legislation that, among other things, allows for homosexual victims of crimes to be classified as a protected class of citizen and therefore crimes against them are subject to greater punishment than crimes against others not listed as a protected class. This atrocity is an offense to the idea of equal justice under the law. Worse, is the fact that someone who criticizes the homosexual lifestyle on religious grounds can find themselves charged with a Hate Crime should any harm come to a homosexual, in spite of the fact that the religious speaker wasn't involved in the crime. This effectively invalidates free speech protections. It appears that some people are now more equal than others to the point that they are legally beyond criticism.

But it doesn't stop there. Equality engineering is also at the heart of the homosexual marriage agenda that is poisoning our political discourse. Homosexuals insist they are being discriminated against because their "relationships" are not recognized as a marriage. They see only their individual rights where marriage is supposed to be defined as a union. When two homosexuals combine 1+1 ALWAYS equals 2. Yet when a man and a woman combine in a relationship 1+1 equals a lot more. Not just in the children created, but in the mutual sacrifice of the couple in raising new citizens. Every successful society throughout history has recognized this marriage based family model as the centerpiece of its civilization. How can homosexuals claim their relationships are equal to that? Their demand to reduce marriage into nothing more than two individuals' self-interests is not only selfish, but evil and intolerable.

But the Tolerance Act just keeps on giving. This myth of equality is the centerpiece of the Obama administration's war on American exceptionalism. Obama, always trying to level the playing field, would deny the United States its' role as sole superpower to instead have us be just one nation among the cooperative of world nations. Obama is also trying to destroy the relationship between excellence and reward in our own country. Achievement is, in his sight, a sign of inequality and unfairness that requires correction. Community organizing and pandering to parasites super-cedes constitutional protections for individual rights and freedom. As the schoolchildren sing: all are equal in HIS sight. Therefore, he justifies granting amnesty to illegal immigrants, tolerance of Islamo-fascism, and racial preferences for jobs and college admissions as a form of reparations for America's alleged past transgressions. Intolerable.

THE CZAR ACT: Like the Massachusetts Bay Regulating Act before it, The Czar Act unlawfully concentrates federal power in the executive branch of government. Unelected Czars appointed by presidents without congressional approval has been a growing problem in recent administrations. However the Obama administration has more Czars than congressionally approved cabinet members...39!! With thirteen more projected for future appointment! This is a massive delegation of authority to unelected bureaucrats. Their rules have the power of law...made by regulators, adjudicated by regulators and enforced by the executive branch. John Holdren, Obama’s Science Czar, is a eugenicist that has laid out plans in his book, Ecoscience, for forced sterilizations and forced abortions as a means of population control. He stated that population control laws could be constitutional, under the right perception. Holdren also proposed such atrocities as forced adoptions for babies born out of wed-lock and claims that forced sterilization of women would be easier to enforce than men. What a guy, huh? He might appear reasonable, if only by comparison, to the half-wit Cass Sunstein who is Obama's regulatory Czar. He has publicly stated a desire to impose regulatory agendas such as outlawing sport hunting, giving animals the legal right to file lawsuits and using government regulations to phase out meat consumption. That's right, he wants your cat to have the legal right to file a lawsuit against you. Of course your cat will be represented by an ACLU attorney who is a quackaloon liberal that talks to cats and knows what they want. I have a cat and if they have their way, she won't just think she's in charge..she will be!

Harold Koh, Obama’s pick as Legal Adviser to the State Department, is a self-described trans-nationalist who has openly stated that judges should interpret the Constitution according to other nations' legal “norms.” So much for national sovereignty! Applying Sharia law in US courts is more than acceptable to this man, and, in his child-like world, the United States constitutes an “axis of disobedience” along with North Korea and Saddam-era Iraq. Moral reletivism at its finest.

Now you know what he means by "mischief." Unfortunately, our constitution is bound in chains by these unconfirmed, unelected and unconstitutional parasites that are sucking our freedom away right in front of us. Are we really powerless to stop this or, worse, are we just indifferent?

CAP AND TRADE ACT: Not unlike the Boston Port Act of 1774, the Cap and Trade legislation pending in the Senate would punitively restructure our economy based on the false premises of man-made global warming and the alleged climate debt that Western industrialized nations "owe" the world for emitting C02 into the atmosphere. The progressives, who bear a hatred for our petroleum based energy economy, have clicked their heels and repeated three times "there's no energy like wind and solar, there's no energy like wind and solar, there's no energy like wind and solar." All we are waiting for now is the wizard to make it all work.

The Senate, however, is balking at passing this economy killing legislation so the American Politburo, masquerading as the Obama administration, has circumvented the law. This of course is what all progressives do even as they expect you to follow the laws THEY create. The Environmental Protection Agency has issued a finding of "endangerment" for carbon dioxide. That's right, a naturally occurring ingredient in the breath we exhale is now labeled as dangerous. By issuing this finding the EPA, under the authority of the Clean Air Act of 1990, can therefore regulate all carbon emissions nationwide.

"If you don't pass this legislation, then ... the EPA is going to have to regulate in this area. And it is not going to be able to regulate on a market-based way, so it's going to have to regulate in a command-and-control way, which will probably generate even more uncertainty." -White House Official under condition of anonymity

Command and Control is the dream of all liberals. They know what's best for us and are righteously indignant at having to constantly explain their "good" intentions and get the consent of the governed. So they threaten EPA regulation in an attempt to not only blackmail the Senate into passing disastrous Cap and Trade legislation, but also to express their willingness to act dictatorially if they wish. This, in spite of the fact that the Clean Air Act of 1990 is congressional legislation that congress can amend or rescind if they wish...and they better do it fast. This administration is fast rendering congress irrelevant. A dictatorship, always the result of liberalism, is on our horizon.

IMPARTIAL ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE ACT: This is EXACTLY like the 1774 Intolerable Act that bears the same name. This allowed the royal governors to move trials in the interest of "fairness" as defined by the government. Does this sound familiar? The announcement by Attorney General Eric Holder that he is going to give 911 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Muhammad and his co-conspirators civil trials in New York City has re-opened this intolerable wound. Once again we have the spectre of progressive moral relativism being imposed on the citizens of the United States. An enemy combatant, that does not even acknowledge the rules of the Geneva Convention, is going to be tried as an ordinary criminal, with the full accompaniment of rights and protections of an American citizen. History is indeed repeating itself.

This administration came in hell-bent on prosecuting the military and intelligence apparatus that so successfully kept a repeat of the 9/11 attacks from occurring for seven years. Apparently this Attorney general, with the approval of his boss, believes the terrorists had reasonable grievances against the United States and now he has given them a worldwide platform from which to advance their cause. In the process, the progressives will get to put the United States on trial, particularly the Bush administration and the CIA, and portray the United States as a villain deserving the "social justice" that the terrorists administered.

Do not think these trials will serve any other purpose. Other countries don't give enemy combatants the right to a civil trial. This passes for original thinking in this administration. Terrorists should be tried in military tribunals, as had already been agreed upon and which then senator Barack Obama supported. However this administration cannot even bring themselves to call them terrorists! They are consumed with the politics of American guilt...and it is intolerable!

In a culture that celebrates victims and their victimization, we must now accept that we too have become victims. Victims of a progressive attempt to fundamentally transform America either through our acquiescence to these intolerable actions, or through a deliberate attempt to over burden our government and economy with more debt and expectations than it can possibly handle. The collapse of our economy excites progressives as it will create an opportunity to rebuild a new America in their own image. An image of command and control, where those who know better do our thinking for us. Our portion is obedience.

This strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis, has a name and is well documented, and revered, among the elitist, progressive American left. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse. I urge you to discover it for yourself. Read it, learn it and fight it.

Progressives, socialists and liberals of all stripes talk a good game, but they are not the type to sacrifice anything for their beliefs. They speak often of the poor and weak in our society but you will never see a liberal take a vow of poverty and dedicate himself to helping them. They simply exploit their misery to further their quest for control. Remember this the next time a liberal invokes Jesus or tries otherwise to conceal himself in religious foliage in an attempt to guilt his victims into accepting social policies that encourage parasitism.

Destroying the United States is their objective and "by any means necessary" is their moral code. They want the rest of us to accept poverty in the name of "equality" and "social justice" while they appoint themselves as bearers of the burden of managing our lives for us. The Climate Gate e-mails are shaking up the world of climate "science" and, once and for all, placing the Global Warming Cabal in the category of political extortionists. Unfortunately, scientists themselves are going to find that betraying the public's trust will have huge consequences as their profession, just as with educators, media and the government, is labeled as an ideological hive of liars and thieves that will deliver whatever "science" their benefactors demand.

Either computer hackers or a whistle-blower obtained 160 megabytes of e-mails from the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in England. Those e-mails involved communication among and between many scientific researchers and policy advocates with similar ideological positions all across the world. They were openly and unashamedly discussing the destruction and hiding of data that failed to support the position of man-made global-warming.

For those of us who have known and stated that man-made global warming is a hoax, this is merely a look behind the curtain of a criminal enterprise to extract trillions of dollars from the wealthy western industrialized countries under the guise of a "climate debt" that is supposedly owed to the rest of the world. To the socialist democrat, western society always owes a debt to somebody for some wrong we capitalists have arrogantly committed in the pursuit of free enterprise. Fortunately the United Nations stands ready to redistribute this ill-gotten booty to its rightful owners...themselves.

Right after the second world war a scheme was concocted to collect a fabricated debt that the imperialist West theoretically owed to its' former colonies for exploiting local resources for their own gain. The only problem with that scheme was that the greatest repository of wealth happened to be the United States, which itself is a former colony. It turned out to be difficult to make the richest country in the world feel its' proper share of "social guilt" since it rose from the same conditions as the so called "exploited colonies" to become the nation that just rescued the entire world from the jaws of fascism. Unable to guilt us out of our money, they had to come up with a new scheme.

Next, they decided that the West's trading practices unfairly victimized poorer countries. We owed a debt to these countries for the human rights violations being perpetrated against their citizens in manufacturing sweat shops that produce cheap products for western consumption. Of course, with well paying manufacturing jobs vacating the United States and the West for places like China, India and Indonesia, the ole' guilt factor once again failed to materialize.

So the arbiters of social justice had to brew another extortionist scheme to siphon money from the West. I know, there's a population explosion going on and the world is heading for a new Ice age. The lowering temperatures will reduce the amount of available farmland so there will be no way to feed everyone. The rich nations of the west will have to pay all the geniuses in the world to fix the problem. It's perfect...almost. Yea, you know what happened next. It sure looked like the world was cooling down in 1975 but the world started warming up. Social justice foiled again.

As always, the teen-aged minds that make up liberalism, offended by free people and unwilling to leave them alone, simply adapted a new strategy. It was all too obvious. The world is getting warmer, so consequently that must be the fault of...you know it...the industrialized West. The bastards! We gotta make them pay the debt they owe to the world. As always, the United Nations is there to encourage and nurture social justice.

This time the scheme involved the idea that industrial emissions, i.e. carbon dioxide, are trapping heat in the earth's atmosphere and, as a result, the cumulative effect of warm temperatures is building to a crescendo of certain global ecological disaster. All sorts of Playstations, (scientists would have us believe they used computers) were programmed to project worldwide temperatures into the future and, of course, they provided the results they were programmed to provide. Ahh, science...you gotta love it. Of course the oceans just wont co-operate as they seem to have risen exactly...not at all! And of course the polar ice caps remain. Polar bears, we were told, would be doomed by global warming yet their numbers have increased five fold during the warm-up. It seems that for every global warming lie, there is a corresponding "inconvenient truth" to counter it.

Not the least of these truths is, of course, the fact that the earth has not warmed any further since 1998. In fact, it has actually significantly cooled. Ten years of stagnation, even as our industrialized carbon emissions increased, was not part of the projections. It's a shame that the earth can't be programmed the same way as their global warming Playstations. What to do? Well, change the name of the scheme of course! Now, instead of "global warming," they call it "climate change." This way they can claim EVERY weather variation to be the fault of man-made emissions! Aren't the godless a funny lot?

Worse still, is the intrusion of "actual" science into the world of the climate change alarmists. Richard Lindzen of MIT, the Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Planetary and Atmospheric Sciences, has released a devastating study on climate feedbacks. Unlike the computer projections of climate change alarmists, Lindzen's study actually has real and testable data that measures the escape of outgoing radiation into space.

“We now know that the effect of CO2 on temperature is small, we know why it is small, and we know that it is having very little effect on the climate.”

The global surface temperature record, which we update and publish every month, has shown no statistically-significant “global warming” for almost 15 years. Statistically-significant global cooling has now persisted for very nearly eight years. Even a strong el Nino – expected in the coming months – will be unlikely to reverse the cooling trend.

More significantly, the ARGO bathythermographs deployed throughout the world’s oceans since 2003 show that the top 400 fathoms of the oceans, where it is agreed between all parties that at least 80% of all heat caused by manmade “global warming” must accumulate, have been cooling over the past six years. That now prolonged ocean cooling is fatal to the “official” theory that “global warming” will happen on anything other than a minute scale. - SPPI Monthly CO2 Report: July 2009

Gee, he even talks like a real scientist, doesn't he? Al Gore and his fellow criminals claim that such radiation becomes trapped within the earth's atmosphere, leading to precipitous and disastrous warming. Yet Lindzen's study finds exactly the opposite! Heat radiation has continued escaping out into space at rates that would seem, finally, to put an end the global warming scare. Results indicate, in fact, that the effects of CO2 on temperature over the course of the next century will remain well below 2°degrees Fahrenheit, possibly as low as 1°degree F. These projections amount to less than one sixth of what the United Nations claims and are, quite simply, negligible. This is the dagger through the heart that should put this hoax to death.

For years we have been told that there is a scientific "consensus" on man-made global warming and that the debate about it is over. In fact, there never was a debate about it. This was always a conclusion in search of evidence. Nothing more than the latest grand scheme to extract money from western industrial countries and redistribute it to the United Nations so they can socially engineer the centralized world government of their dreams. To do this, THEY have exploited the poor and underdeveloped nations of the world. In the process they have lied, manipulated and destroyed data, and harassed the careers of scientists that refused to follow their agenda. This is perhaps the single biggest crime ever perpetrated against mankind. The e-mails recently uncovered in the Climate Gate scandal reveal the magnitude of the conspiracy.

The manipulation of evidence:

"I’ve just completed Mike’s Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (ie from 1981 onwards) amd from 1961 for Keith’s to hide the decline."

Doubts about whether the world is actually heating up:

"The fact is that we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can’t. The CERES data published in the August BAMS 09 supplement on 2008 shows there should be even more warming: but the data are surely wrong. Our observing system is inadequate."

Suppression of evidence:

"Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith re AR4? Keith will do likewise. He’s not in at the moment – minor family crisis. Can you also email Gene and get him to do the same? I don’t have his new email address. We will be getting Caspar to do likewise."

Attempts to disguise the inconvenient truth of the Medieval Warm Period (MWP):

"…Phil and I have recently submitted a paper using about a dozen NH records that fit this category, and many of which are available nearly 2K back–I think that trying to adopt a timeframe of 2K, rather than the usual 1K, addresses a good earlier point that Peck made w/ regard to the memo, that it would be nice to try to “contain” the putative “MWP”, even if we don’t yet have a hemispheric mean reconstruction available that far back…"

The least surprising excerpts refer to the excoriating and dismissing of dissenters, and their plans to keep them from publishing in reputable journals. It's not surprising because these types of accusations are commonplace in academia, and given the political nature of the climate change debate and the federal money at stake, it was only a matter of time before scientists succumbed to the temptation and persuasion of delivering the science that the sources of their revenue demanded. To do this they had to create a scientific climate in which anyone who disagrees with man-made global warming would be written off as simply a denier, whose views are dismissed as having no professional relevance. To keep skeptics from publishing in a peer-review journal...they simply take over the journal:

"So what do we do about this? I think we have to stop considering “Climate Research” as a legitimate peer-reviewed journal. Perhaps we should encourage our colleagues in the climate research community to no longer submit to, or cite papers in, this journal. We would also need to consider what we tell or request of our more reasonable colleagues who currently sit on the editorial board…What do others think?” “I will be emailing the journal to tell them I’m having nothing more to do with it until they rid themselves of this troublesome editor.”“It results from this journal having a number of editors. The responsible one for this is a well-known skeptic in NZ. He has let a few papers through by Michaels and Gray in the past. I’ve had words with Hans von Storch about this, but got nowhere. Another thing to discuss in Nice !”

Does this sound familiar? Saul Alinsky would be proud. How many of you would have thought the scientific community would be made up of thugs and bullies? But alas, like the educational system and the media before them, they have given up their professional pursuits in favor of ideological purity. In this case, an allegiance to the social engineering of a New World Order. In such a world such outmoded concepts as "truth" and "freedom" are replaced with the godless fantasies of teenage wisdom. But it still gets better as this newly reported revelation shows:

Scientists at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based. It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a long-term rise in temperature over the past 150 years.

The UEA’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) was forced to reveal the loss following requests for the data under Freedom of Information legislation. The data were gathered from weather stations around the world and then adjusted to take account of variables in the way they were collected. The revised figures were kept, but the originals — stored on paper and magnetic tape — were dumped to save space when the CRU moved to a new building. The admission follows the leaking of a thousand private emails sent and received by Professor Phil Jones, the CRU’s director. In them he discusses thwarting climate sceptics seeking access to such data. -Times Online

Convenient how the original, unprocessed data that their projections are derived from is destroyed isn't it? That any responsible government official would consider the economy strangling restrictions being proposed as a response to global warming with such criminally deficient science is childish on a Biblical scale! Scientists who value their profession and their reputations should demand full congressional investigations. The scientists who cast their lot with this congregation of thieves should be made to do a "perp walk" before the entire world.

President Obama is reacting to the e-mail scandal as expected. He is ignoring it. He has changed his plans and now intends to go to Copenhagen with a list of proposals and commitments. He is desperate for a cap and trade agreement and is in way too deep to give up just because of this scandal. General Electric is demanding a return on their investment in his election, and Obama is obliged to comply. He is bought and paid for. Like Nixon in the early stages of Watergate, he is doubling down on his commitment to this scheme to submit the United States to the control of restrictive United Nations emission mandates. He still has the loyalty of the American media, who is doing its' part to keep news of the e-mail scandal off the front pages of newspapers.

On the positive side, however, Penn State University is investigating one of its professors who is a leading proponent of man-made global warming and whose name is all over these e-mails:

Professor Michael Mann is a highly regarded member of the Penn State faculty conducting research on climate change. Professor Mann’s research papers have been published in well respected peer-reviewed scientific journals. In November 2005, Representative Sherwood Boehlert (R-NY) requested that the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) convene a panel of independent experts to investigate Professor Mann’s seminal 1999 reconstruction of the global surface temperature over the past 1,000 years. The resulting 2006 report of the NAS panel concluded that Mann’s results were sound and has been subsequently supported by an array of evidence that includes additional large-scale surface temperature reconstructions.

In recent days a lengthy file of emails has been made public. Some of the questions raised through those emails may have been addressed already by the NAS investigation but others may not have been considered. The University is looking into this matter further, following a well defined policy used in such cases. No public discussion of the matter will occur while the University is reviewing the concerns that have been raised.

Perhaps there is hope that this information will find its way out. It certainly is destroying the credibility of global warming proponents throughout the rest of the world where this is front page news. President Obama's own Science Czar, John Holdren, is prominently featured in the scandalous e-mails. How long can the press keep a lid on this? What we are talking about here is the small group of scientists who have, for years, been the most influential in driving world-wide alarm over global warming, not least through the role they play at the heart of the United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The scientific establishment has been irreparably compromised.

We now see everything coming into the open, the hidden hidden and subtle things are in full, grotesque, view. The revealed lies of the global warming alarmists are no different from the revealed lies of evolution. The scientific community was willing to whore itself out to a political ideology in return for professional enhancement and government funding. Just as the lie of evolution was a stealth destroyer of our educational system, so also is the global warming scheme designed to capitalize on our mis-educated children's faith in a false science. We can only hope that everyone doesn't prove to be as stupid as their programming intended.

Science is not about consensus or diabolical political maneuvering. It's about data and the ability to reproduce results with that data. Socialists, Democrats and other assorted liberals would have you believe that they are strong proponents of science. The global warming fraud is proof that this is not the case. Like God, science all too often fails to deliver their desired results. Therefore they have to fabricate a science that is more "useful" to them. For those in pursuit of "social justice," this passes for morality.

The American liberal's hatred for this country is limitless, and they know they have but a short time to implement their schemes to bankrupt us and hand over our sovereignty to the United Nation's nefarious global government. Even as both the scientific data and these scandalous e-mails serve to destroy the global warming scheme in its tracks, the President is off to Copenhagen to launch one last, ill fated, charge. It kind of reminds me of the famous charge of George Pickett's division on July 3, 1863 at Gettysburg. The charge succeeded in reaching its objective...they just couldn't hold it. They didn't have enough support. The man-made global warming scheme came so close, but in the end, it too will die for lack of support.

Good news though! We are being told that there are "continent size garbage dumps" being formed in the Pacific Ocean that are certain to cause an ecological disaster. Obviously western industrialized nations are to blame, and they must be forced to pay the debt they owe to the rest of the world for polluting the oceans. The United nations, with their hands out as always, will be there to collect the debt. The dream of redistribution of wealth never dies. Thieves, liars and liberals will always be with us, and our freedom and independence just offends the hell out of them. They cannot leave us, or our money, alone.

When Tolerance Kills

WHEN TOLERANCE KILLS

Political correctness is in the air, and fear of the truth is everywhere. In the aftermath of the recent attack on soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas, President Obama went out of his way not to use the word "terrorism" to describe the massacre. And for good reason, the fantasy that there is no "war on terror" is one of the quintessential cogs in the left's governing apparatus. Without which, all the other gears in their machine will not turn. It shall be interesting to watch the president and his administration scramble to blame the military and the operations in Afghanistan and Iraq for this incident. They will blame everyone...except those responsible.

In fact, the Fort Hood shooting is the first successful terrorist attack on American soil since 9-11. But Obama, his hands soiled with the responsibility of dis-assembling Bush era protections against such attacks, is attempting make it look like a run-of-the-mill maniac with a gun shooting. The politicization of the massacre was swift and sure as the FBI, within hours of the shootings, decried that this was not terrorist related even before FBI agents arrived at the scene.

Ever the loyal sycophants, the media too has been downplaying any relationship to the attacker, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, to organized terror groups. But alas, not only do such connections exist, they are damning:

Hasan, the sole suspect in the massacre of 13 fellow US soldiers in Texas, attended the controversial Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Great Falls, Virginia, in 2001 at the same time as two of the September 11 terrorists, The Sunday Telegraph has learnt. His mother's funeral was held there in May that year.

The preacher at the time was Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born Yemeni scholar who was banned from addressing a meeting in London by video link in August because he is accused of supporting attacks on British troops and backing terrorist organisations. -The London Telegraph

It is a shame that one has to consult foreign journalists to get an honest assessment of such critical elements of this story. This man was a follower of the same Imam as several of the 9/11 attackers. Some would say this alone qualifies as a reason to look for a possible terrorist link. Yet, as always, there is more:

Hasan's eyes "lit up" when he mentioned his deep respect for al-Awlaki's teachings, according to a fellow Muslim officer at the Fort Hood base in Texas, the scene of Thursday's horrific shooting spree. As investigators look at Hasan's motives and mindset, his attendance at the mosque could be an important piece of the jigsaw. Al-Awlaki moved to Dar al-Hijrah as imam in January, 2001, from the west coast, and three months later the September 11 hijackers Nawaf al-Hamzi and Hani Hanjour began attending his services. A third hijacker attended his services in California.

Hasan was praying at Dar al-Hijrah at about the same time, and the FBI will now want to investigate whether he met the two terrorists. Charles Allen, a former under-secretary for intelligence at the Department of Homeland Security, has described al-Awlaki, who now lives in Yemen, as an "al-Qaeda supporter, and former spiritual leader to three of the September 11 hijackers... who targets US Muslims with radical online lectures encouraging terrorist attacks from his new home in Yemen".

Last night Hasan remained in a coma under guard at a military hospital in San Antonio, Texas, and was said to be in a "stable" condition. Born in America to a Palestinian family, Hasan, 39, was an army psychiatrist who had chosen to sign up for the US military against his parents' wishes. But he turned into an angry critic of the wars America was waging in Iraq and Afghanistan and had tried in vain to negotiate his discharge.

He counselled soldiers returning from the front line and told relatives that he was horrified at the prospect of a deployment to Afghanistan later this year – his first time in a combat zone. Whether due to his personal convictions, his stress over his deployment or other reasons, Hasan is alleged to have snapped and gone on a murderous rampage with a powerful semi-automatic handgun after shouting "Allahu Akhbar" ("God is great"), according to survivors. He had earlier given away copies of the Koran to neighbours. -The London Telegraph

Major Nidal Malik Hasan screamed "Allahu Akhbar" and began a shooting massacre that killed 13 soldiers and wounded 30 more. The fact that he acted alone would not make him any less of a terrorist. Lone suicide bombers are the norm in most Islamic terrorist attacks. That Hasan was a trained soldier would certainly make the use of firearms a somewhat more reasonable method of operation. The difference between a stressed out or delusional psychopath and a terrorist is political motivation and the political motivation is certain. Also certain is the unfortunate fact that Major Hasan had been communicating recently with his former Imam, Anwar al-Awlahi who currently resides in Yemen and acts as a recruiter for...Al-Qaeda!

His "Allahu Akhbar" declarations would certainly indicate that he was motivated by the Islamic fanatacism that Obama and his media bootlickers are bending over backwards to deny. This, of course, recalls President Clinton's deliberate and misleading response to the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. Like all democrats, he viewed the bombing as a merely a crime, promising to find those guilty and punish them, rather than to attack the international groups that funded and enabled them. We have come full circle to the delusional world of leftist fools who act as though 9/11 never happened. Which, of course, only guarantees something equally disastrous will happen again.

Many people, including myself, have lamented and warned that the the weakening of Bush administration anti-terrorist policies would leave us vulnerable to be attacked again. Now it has happened and our president, fully believing that the only enemy to the United States is the American people, is doing everything he can to delegitimize the terrorist threat in order keep his domestic political agenda front and center. Depriving Americans of their liberties through the confiscation of the health care system and redistributing U.S. sovereignty and wealth through a fraudulent carbon-tax scheme supercedes defending the nation and its antiquated constitution in his eyes.

Lets face it, when the U.S. military is targeted within our own borders, our enemies do NOT fear us. As certainly as the October 12, 2000 attack on the USS Cole was a warning that our Islamic enemies were not impressed with America's ability to thwart their actions, so too is Major Hasan's attack on Fort Hood a precursor to an even greater and imminent attack. They our watching our for our response. What will it be?

The soldiers killed in this vicious attack were murdered by the president and his follower's allegiance to the myths of tolerance, diversity and political correctness. As I have documented in previous writings, many of our soldiers are killed by people masquerading as their friends and allies. It is perhaps an unavoidable reality when an Iraqi soldier who goes into battle with Americans suddenly reveals his true allegiance by turning and firing on our soldiers. You cannot tell who is a jihadist just by looking at them. Al Qaeda has long encouraged infiltration into the foolishly politically correct West. However, this killer was no surprise:

In the months leading to Thursday's shooting spree that left 13 people dead and 29 others wounded, Hasan raised eyebrows with comments that the war on terror was "a war on Islam" and wrestled with what to tell fellow Muslim solders who had their doubts about fighting in Islamic countries. "The system is not doing what it's supposed to do," said Dr. Val Finnell, who complained to administrators at a military university about what he considered Hasan's "anti-American" rants. "He at least should have been confronted about these beliefs, told to cease and desist, and to shape up or ship out."

Finnell studied with Hasan from 2007-2008 in the master's program in public health at the military's Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md., where Hasan persistently complained about perceived anti-Muslim sentiment in the military and injected his politics into courses where they had no place. "In retrospect, I'm not surprised he did it," Finnell said of the shootings. "I had real questions about what his priorities were, what his beliefs were." -Associated Press

It's called "discrimination," and it is exactly what was called for here. Too many people hold onto foolish ideas of tolerance and political correctness and those are the very things that led to this massacre. The saddest part of this story is the revelation that many soldiers who heard the rantings of this Islamic supremacist dared not report what they knew in fear of being labeled a bigot and accused of discrimination. Even worse the Secretary of the Army had this to say after the tragedy:

"I'm concerned that this increased speculation could cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers. And I've asked our Army leaders to be on the lookout for that. There are about 3,000 Muslims on active duty military service or in the National Guard or reserve forces, They remain a small minority within the U.S. military." -General George Casey

WHAT!!!!! A fully indoctrinated Islamic supremacist infiltrates the United States Army and kills American soldiers and the army's top general goes on every major Sunday news show to say he fears a "backlash" against the one thousand Muslim soldiers who currently serve? If there is one group of people who have shown they can keep a level head in these situations it is those serving in our military. We need to stick to the issue at hand instead of fabricating a "backlash" that has not and will not happen. In fact, we need to act in a way that will protect our soldiers from the "backlashes" of future turncoats.

In WW II our ancestors had the wisdom to disallow American's of Japanese descent from serving in the Japanese theater, and even went so far as to imprison many until their backgrounds could be investigated during the early stages of the war. Obama and his ilk look down on these decisions as discriminatory and bigoted, yet it was entirely reasonable given the suddenness of the Japanese attack and the problems inherent with diverse and multicultural societies.

I tell you we are NOT better than our ancestors. We are weakened by political correctness because we haven't had the courage to question Muslims in our society...and we are paying for it. It may be true that not every Muslim is a terrorist in waiting, and many are perfectly loyal Americans. But Major Hasan wasn't, and it doesn't take a psychological degree to see that he was a threat. What more could he have done to draw attention to himself? Declare war on America? Obama has done that!

Major Hasan was definitely wrong about one thing. Presidents Bush and Obama have gone out of their way to make it clear that the "War on Terror" was NOT a war on Islam. That is why it is doomed to fail. Too many ignorant people inflate their opinion of themselves and their intellect by accepting a foolish moral equivalency of Islam with other religions, particularly Christianity. It is a fool's lie. Islam is at war with us and has been for 1200 years. It only understands dominance and submission. Tolerance to Islam is dangerous. Thanks to Nadal Hasan, we have learned that lesson yet again. Therefore, what we need is an open declaration of "War on Islam." Political correctness be damned! Islam is not compatible with Western Civilization. Muslims know this, why do we insist on accepting tolerance, diversity, equality and political correctness mythology? They are all false gods.

How can there be any dispute about the virtue of what [Hasan] has done? In fact the only way a Muslim could Islamically justify serving as a soldier in the U.S. army is if his intention is to follow the footsteps of men like Nidal." -Anwar al-Awlaki's response to the massacre

Discrimination. It's what people do...when they KNOW better. How long does it take for some people to learn?
